Pro. This feature requires WB Member Blog Pro. The free plugin must be installed and active first. See the Pro index for every Pro module.
Custom field answers are shown on the post automatically. You can also place a single answer anywhere with a shortcode or block, for example in a sidebar or a custom single-post template.
Automatic display
Section titled “Automatic display”On a single post, the answers appear after the post content as a list of labels and values, for example:
- Reading time: 6 minutes
- How hard is this to try yourself? Some practice
Rules:
- Only fields with Display on Frontend on are listed.
- Empty answers are skipped. A post with no answers shows nothing.
- A colon is added after each label, unless the label already ends in punctuation such as
?. - Images, galleries, videos, files and embeds are shown as media, not as text.
To stop a field appearing here, turn off Show on post with Quick edit on the Custom Fields tab. The value is still saved and can still be shown with the shortcode.
