The Editor tab chooses the editor members write in on the front-end post form, and whether their drafts are saved automatically.

Go to WB Plugins > Member Blog > Editor.

Setting What it does Default
Active editor The editor on the post form: Editor.js (Block-style), Medium Editor (Inline) or Classic Editor (TinyMCE) Editor.js (Block-style)
Autosave drafts “Automatically save a draft while members are writing.” Saves about once a minute while a member writes. A new post or a draft is saved in place and stays on their Drafts tab. On a published post the changes are kept aside, offered back when the member reopens it, and go live only when they press Update. On

Change either one and click Save Settings. The choice applies to every member the next time they open the post form.

Editor Best for
Editor.js (marked Recommended) A modern block-style editor, similar to Notion. Members add paragraphs, headings, lists, images, code, quotes and more as blocks.
Medium Editor Distraction-free writing with a floating toolbar that appears when text is selected. Good for focused writing and simple formatting.
Classic Editor The familiar WordPress editor with a full toolbar at the top. Good for members used to writing in WordPress.

Every editor can embed anything WordPress can embed, such as videos and social posts.

The Overview tab shows the active editor under Configuration Status, marked “(default)” if you have never changed it.

Autosave and live posts. Autosave never changes a post’s status. On a post that is already published, scheduled or private, unsaved changes are kept aside and offered back to the member, and readers never see them until the member saves.
