Pro. This feature requires WB Member Blog Pro. The free plugin must be installed and active first. See the Pro index for every Pro module.

The Author Dashboard module adds two tabs to each writer’s member home: Analytics, with their own post statistics, and Settings, where they choose their notifications and manage co-author invitations and series. The member home itself (Published, Drafts, Pending, Saved, Following) comes with the free plugin; see Managing Your Posts. The module is on by default.

The member home is the same screen in two places: the Blog tab on a BuddyPress, BuddyBoss or PeepSo profile, and the site’s member dashboard page. Only the owner sees these two tabs, and only when their role can write. Visitors to a member’s blog never see them.

Tab Shows Needs
Calendar Scheduled, published and draft posts on a calendar The Post Scheduling module. See Scheduling.
Analytics The writer’s own views, top posts and traffic sources The Post Analytics module, the Analytics switch below, and a role allowed under Analytics > Who can use it

Posting limits are not a tab. A member with a limit sees one line above their Published list with the posts left and the reset date. See Posting Limits and Restrictions.

  1. Go to WB Plugins > Member Blog > Author Dashboard. The tab appears only while the Author Dashboard module is on.
  2. Under Visible sub-tabs, switch on the sections members should see.
  3. Click Save Settings.
