BuddyPress(Community Settings)

BuddyX Pro is a social networking WordPress theme that is fully compatible with BuddyPress.

To access the community settings, you have to navigate to Appearance > Customizer > Community Settings. This page will have the following options:

Activity Control

These settings are responsible for embedding activity generation. Following are the instances that are available to control:

  • Member Cover Image Activity
  • Group Image Activity
  • Group Cover Image Activity

BuddyPress Members Directory

You can manage the appearance of the Member Directory here. The settings are given below:

 

  • Member Directory View: 

    Manage the member directory views. Two views are provided by the theme.

    • Default view                      
    • Card View

Member Directory Elements:

  • Online Status: Show/Hide the Online status of the members on the Member Directory.
  • Profile Types: Enable to show profile types on Member Directory.
  • Followers: Check this setting to show the follower count.
  • Last Active: Show the last active data of the members.
  • Joined Date: Show the members joined date.

BuddyPress Groups

You can manage the appearance of the Group Directory here. The settings are given below:

 

  • Group Directory View: 

    Manage the group directory views. Two views are provided by the theme.

    • Default view
    • Card View

BuddyPress Single Member

  • Single Member Cover Image Layout: Select the layout for the cover image of a single image. Following are the image layouts are given:
    • Left View
    • Centered View
    • Container Left View
    • Container Centered View
    • Strech Left View
  • Single Member Navigation Style: Set the navigation style for the member profile:
    • Default View
    • Icon + Label
  • Single Member Navigation View: Set the navigation View for single-member navigation. Two options are given:
    • More
    • Swipe

Note: If you want to show the swipe menu on your member profile, please ensure that you haven’t selected any option for the primary navigation in BP Nouveau > Member Navigation.

 

BuddyPress Single Group

This section has the following options:

  • Single Group Covers Image Layout: Select the layout for the cover image of a single group. Following are the group cover image layouts are given:
    • Left View
    • Container View
    • Container Left View
    • Container Centered View
    • Strech Left View
  • Single Group Navigation Style: Set the navigation style for the Single Group:
    • Default View
    • Icon + Label
  • Single Group Navigation View: Set the navigation View for single-group navigation. Two options are given:
    • More
    • Swipe

Note: If you want to show the swipe menu on your Single group, please ensure that you haven’t selected any option for the primary navigation in BP Nouveau > Group Navigation.
