BP Nouveau

This control lets the users change the order of the BuddyPress single items navigation items. To find this option, navigate to Appearance >> Customize and scroll down to the BP Nouveau.

It has the following settings.

General BP Settings

• Member and Group Avatar Appearance: Check the box to use the round style for member and group avatars.
• BuddyPress Container Width: Select the BuddyPress container width for your site.

Group Front Page

• Group Front Page: Check this box to enable custom front pages for groups.

• Enable custom boxes for group homepages: When enabled, Plugins using the BuddyPress Group Extension API can include content into these boxes.
• Check this box to display the group description in the body of the group’s front page.

Member Front Page

• Check this box to enable the default front page for member profiles.
• Display the biographical info from the member’s WordPress profile.

Group Navigation

•  Display the group navigation vertically.

• Use tab styling for primary navigation.

• Use tab styling for the secondary navigation.

• Use tab styling for the group creation process.

• Manage the order of navigation menus: Drag each possible group of navigation items that are listed below into the order you prefer. In some groups, some of these navigation items might not be active.

Member Navigation

• Display the member navigation vertically.

• Use tab styling for primary nav.

• Use tab styling for secondary nav.

• Manage the order of navigation menus: Drag each possible member’s navigation items that are listed below into the order you prefer.

Loop Layouts

This setting is used to set the number of columns to use for BuddyPress loops.

• Member: Manage the loop layouts of member listing.

• Member > Friends: manage the loop layout of a member’s friend listing. You can see these changes by navigating to member profile > friends.

• Groups: Manage the loop layout of the group directory.

• Group Members: Manage the loop layout for a member’s group listing. You can see these changes by navigating to member profile > groups.

Directory Layout

• Use column navigation for the Members directory.

• Use tab styling for Member’s directory navigation.

• Use column navigation for the Activity directory.

• Use tab styling for Activity directory navigation.

• Use column navigation for the Groups directory.

• Use tab styling for Groups directory navigation.
