Monetizing your board
You can run your board with free job posts using Free alone, or charge employers credits to post and feature jobs with Pro. This page helps you choose and points to the setup guides.
Free and Pro
Section titled “Free and Pro”- Free posts jobs without charge. There is nothing to configure for pricing.
- Pro adds credits. You give a board a credit cost per job, employers buy credits, and posting a job uses them. Pro also supports a paid Featured upgrade.
Choose a model

You can combine them. For example, keep some boards free and charge on others, and sell the Featured upgrade on top.
Free postings
Section titled “Free postings”Employers register and post without paying. You choose how much review each job gets.
- Go to Career Board > Settings > Jobs.
- Leave Auto-Publish Jobs off to review every new job. New jobs wait as Pending until you approve them under Career Board > Jobs. You are emailed when a job is waiting.
- Turn Auto-Publish Jobs on to publish jobs as soon as employers submit them.
Auto-publish is off by default. Keep it off on a free board unless you trust your posters.
Charging with credits (Pro)
Section titled “Charging with credits (Pro)”With Pro you can charge credits to post and to feature jobs. Employers buy credits from the Credits tab of their dashboard. Credits are held when a job is submitted to a paid board and spent when the job goes live. If the job is rejected, trashed or deleted, the credits are returned.
You can sell credits through:
- Stripe or PayPal, using credit packs you create
- WooCommerce
- WooCommerce Subscriptions
- WooCommerce Memberships
- Paid Memberships Pro
- MemberPress
Every change to a balance is recorded in a credit ledger that is never edited.

Test before you launch
Section titled “Test before you launch”Run a full purchase and post as a real employer before you announce paid posting. Check that the credits arrive, the job posts, and the receipt email is sent.
