Install and activate Pro
You can add WP Career Board Pro to a site that already runs WP Career Board. Pro is a separate plugin.
Install the Pro plugin
Section titled “Install the Pro plugin”- Install and activate WP Career Board (Free) first. Pro needs it and shows an admin error notice when Free is not active.
- In wp-admin, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Select the
wp-career-board-pro.zipfile and click Install Now. - Click Activate Plugin.
Pro also needs a Free version that is new enough. If yours is too old, an admin notice asks you to update Free first.
Activate your license
Section titled “Activate your license”Go to Career Board > Settings > License and enter your license key. The key keeps automatic updates working. The Pro features on your website do not depend on it.

What Pro adds
Section titled “What Pro adds”- Extra tabs under Career Board > Settings, including Analytics, Boards, Field Builder, Credits, AI Settings, Job Feed, Integrations and License.
- Extra blocks in the block inserter.
- Extra setup wizard steps named License, How Employers Pay and Pro Pages.
To run the wizard again, click Re-run Setup Wizard at the bottom of Career Board > Settings.
