You can configure the homepage settings from either of the following locations:
Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Homepage Settings. or
Dashboard >> Settings >> Readings.

You will get two options
Your latest posts.
A static page.
You can choose the content of the homepage of your site from the above two options. It can be the list of posts in reverse chronological order (classic blog) or a fixed/static page. To set a static homepage, you first need to create two Pages. One will become the homepage, and the other will be where your posts are displayed.
