Setup and License Problems

Pro is paused

Symptom: an admin notice says Product Roadmap Pro needs a newer Product Roadmap and that Pro features are paused. The Pro menu items, templates and block are missing.

Cause: Pro 1.8.0 requires Product Roadmap 1.8.0 or newer, and the installed Free version is older. Pro stays off so the site does not hit fatal errors; Free keeps working.

Fix: update Product Roadmap from the Plugins screen, then reload. If the notice says Product Roadmap is not installed or not active, install and activate it first.

Pro features are missing after activating the license

Symptom: the Pro tabs or the Analytics menu do not appear.

Cause: the license is not active, or Pro is paused (see above).

Fix: check Roadmap > Settings > License and the common activation errors in Installation and license activation.

A template is missing from the list

Symptom: Timeline View is not offered in the Default Template dropdown, the shortcode or the block.

Cause: Enable timeline view is turned off under Roadmap > Settings > Advanced. Boards already set to Timeline fall back to the default template.

Fix: turn Enable timeline view back on. See Templates settings.

Webhooks, digests or guest suggestions do nothing

Symptom: no webhook calls, no digest email, or the suggestion form is not usable by visitors.

Cause: these features are off by default.

Fix: switch on Enable webhooks, Enable digest emails or Allow guest suggestions under Roadmap > Settings > Advanced. See Advanced settings.
