What does Pro add over the free Product Roadmap plugin?
Section titled “What does Pro add over the free Product Roadmap plugin?”Pro adds the Gutenberg Roadmap block, extra templates (Timeline, List, Cards, Minimal, Idea Box), multiple products, an analytics dashboard, CSV import and export, item merge, guest suggestions, drag and drop, email digests, webhooks and custom fields. Does Pro work without the free plugin?
Section titled “Does Pro work without the free plugin?”No. Pro extends Product Roadmap and needs it installed and active. Pro 1.8.0 needs Product Roadmap 1.8.0 or newer. On an older Free version Pro pauses itself and shows an admin notice naming the update needed; Free keeps working on its own. See Pro is paused.
Can an item belong to more than one product?
Section titled “Can an item belong to more than one product?”Not by default. Since 1.8.0 each roadmap item and changelog entry belongs to one product, in the editor and over the REST API. Sites that relied on the old behaviour can restore it with the roadmap_allow_multiple_products filter. See Multi-product management.
What happens to my license and updates?
Section titled “What happens to my license and updates?”Activate the license under Roadmap > Settings > License. See Installation and license activation for activation steps and the common activation errors.
Are webhooks, custom fields and CSV import included?
Section titled “Are webhooks, custom fields and CSV import included?”Yes. CSV import and export live under Roadmap > Settings > Import/Export (CSV import and export). Webhooks and custom fields are managed through the REST API; there is no settings screen for them yet (Webhooks and custom fields). Webhooks must first be switched on under Roadmap > Settings > Advanced.
