Templates Settings
Go to Roadmap > Settings > Templates.
Template Selection
Section titled “Template Selection”| Setting | Description |

| Default Template | The template used when a board does not specify one. Options: Board View, Timeline, List, Cards, Minimal, Idea Box. Timeline only appears in this list when Enable Timeline View is turned on under Advanced settings - turning it off removes Timeline from this dropdown and from the shortcode/block choices, the same way it disappears from the frontend. |
| Enable Template Switcher | Lets visitors switch between templates on the frontend with a view selector. |
| Cards View Columns | Number of columns for the Cards template: 2, 3, 4, or Auto. |
Timeline Settings
Section titled “Timeline Settings”| Setting | Default | Description |

| Timeline Scale | Monthly | How far ahead the timeline template looks from today: Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly. |
| Show milestones on timeline | On | Shows milestone markers on the timeline. |

Template preview and shortcode reference
Section titled “Template preview and shortcode reference”The Templates tab also shows a live preview of the selected default template, and a shortcode reference card listing the [roadmap] and [roadmap_changelog] attributes so you can copy working examples without leaving the settings screen.
