Page Mapping

The Page Mapping settings (under WB Plugins > LMS Notes > General) tell the plugin which pages act as the notes pages. LMS Notes creates both pages for you on activation, so in most cases you only need to change these if you rename, delete, or want to relocate them.

All Notes Page

The page instructors and site admins use to review their students’ notes.

  • Must contain the [lms_instructor_notes] shortcode.
  • Default page title: All Notes.
  • Use the View button to open the selected page in a new tab.

My Notes Page

The page each learner uses to review their own notes.

  • Must contain the [lcn_notes] shortcode.
  • Default page title: My Notes.
  • The View All Notes link in the note editor points to this page.

How to change a mapped page

  1. Create a page and add the correct shortcode ([lms_instructor_notes] for All Notes, [lcn_notes] for My Notes).
  2. Publish the page.
  3. Return to WB Plugins > LMS Notes > General, select your page in the matching dropdown.
  4. Click Save Changes.
