BuddyPress and BuddyBoss

BuddyPress (or BuddyBoss) is optional. LMS Notes works without it. When it is installed and active, learners get a place to see their notes on their community profile.

What the integration adds

  • A Notes tab on the member’s own BuddyPress/BuddyBoss profile, showing their notes (the same list as the [lcn_notes] My Notes page), with a count badge.
  • A Notes > My Notes entry in the account admin-bar menu that links to the member’s notes.

How to enable it

  1. Make sure BuddyPress or BuddyBoss is active.
  2. Go to WB Plugins > LMS Notes > General.
  3. Turn on Enable “My Notes” on BuddyPress Profile.
  4. Click Save Changes.

Notes

Section titled “Notes”
  • The Notes tab appears only on the member’s own profile.
  • The tab and admin-bar entry disappear if the BuddyPress setting is turned off or BuddyPress is deactivated.
