What types of LMS does this plugin support?
Section titled “What types of LMS does this plugin support?”Five: LearnDash, LifterLMS, Sensei LMS, LearnPress, and Tutor LMS. At least one of them must be installed and active.
Is BuddyPress required?
Section titled “Is BuddyPress required?”No. BuddyPress (or BuddyBoss) is optional. If it is installed and active and you enable the setting, members get a Notes tab on their profile. Without it, learners still use the My Notes page.
How do learners take notes?
Section titled “How do learners take notes?”Enrolled, logged-in learners click the floating note icon on a course, lesson, topic, or quiz page, write a note, and save. See Taking notes.
How can I display notes on a custom page?
Section titled “How can I display notes on a custom page?”Add the [lcn_notes] shortcode to any page to show the current learner’s notes. See Shortcodes.
How do I show notes on the LearnDash profile page?
Section titled “How do I show notes on the LearnDash profile page?”Enable My Notes section in LearnDash profile under WB Plugins > LMS Notes > General. Notes then appear on the page that uses the [ld_profile] shortcode.
Can I restrict who can create notes?
Section titled “Can I restrict who can create notes?”Yes. Under General > Select user roles allowed to create notes, pick the roles that may create notes. Administrators always can.
Can I limit notes to certain content?
Section titled “Can I limit notes to certain content?”Yes. Use Limit notes to specific modules to control which LMS post types show the icon, and Enable notes for additional post types to allow notes on other content. See General settings.
Can learners export their notes?
Section titled “Can learners export their notes?”Yes - to PDF or Word, or print from the browser, individually or in bulk. See Export and print.
