Group Moderation
Group moderation lets members report inappropriate BuddyPress groups. Reports are collected in the admin Moderation queue alongside all other content types.
For members
Section titled “For members”- On a group page, click the flag button.
- Choose a reason in the report modal. Group report reasons are managed under Categorize By Report → Groups report types and default to the shared reason list.
- Submit. Admins and selected moderators are notified, and the report appears in the Moderation queue.
Click the unflag button to retract a report.
For admins and moderators
Section titled “For admins and moderators”Reported groups appear in the Moderation queue with the reporter(s), report count, and reason. From a report you can view the group, hide it, clean up the report to restore it, or delete the reported item. The group creator can be restricted through the report’s related actions.
Group avatars and photos are handled separately by avatar moderation, which holds new group photos for approval.
Auto-moderation
Section titled “Auto-moderation”Groups can be auto-moderated once they reach the report threshold. Configure this on the Restrictions tab. See Auto-moderation.
