Comment Moderation

Comment moderation applies the same flag workflow to activity comments, so members can report a single reply without reporting the whole activity thread.

  1. Find the comment on an activity update and click its flag button (label set on the General tab, default Flag).
  2. Choose a reason in the report modal. The comment report reasons are managed under Categorize By Report → Activity Comment types and default to the same list used across the plugin (Sexually Inappropriate, Prohibited Content, Misleading or Scam, False News, Offensive, Violence, Spam, Nudity, Harassment, Hate Speech, Terrorism, Other).
  3. Submit. The button switches to the unflag label, and the comment may be hidden based on the Restrictions settings.

Click the unflag button to retract a report. Members cannot flag their own comments.

Flagged comments appear in the Moderation queue next to other reported content. From a report you can view the comment in context, hide it, clean up the report to restore it, delete it, or restrict the author. The parent activity is unaffected unless it is reported separately.

The Restrictions tab has an Activity Comment Restrictions section for automatic comment moderation, using the same report threshold and visibility rules as activities. See Auto-moderation.
