Do I need user reports to moderate content?
Section titled “Do I need user reports to moderate content?”No. You can review content manually and act on it from wp-admin. You can also turn on auto-moderation so content is hidden automatically once it reaches the report threshold, without any manual step.
Which content types can members report?
Section titled “Which content types can members report?”Activity updates, activity comments, members, groups, private messages, and, when bbPress is active, forum topics and replies. Profile and group avatars are handled separately by upload approval.
Can I change the report reasons?
Section titled “Can I change the report reasons?”Yes. Go to WB Plugins → Moderation Pro → Categorize By Report. Each content type has its own list of reasons, editable independently.
Where do reports appear?
Section titled “Where do reports appear?”In the Moderation menu in wp-admin. Pending avatar submissions appear under Avatar Mods.
How long are reports kept?
Section titled “How long are reports kept?”Reports remain until an administrator resolves or deletes them. Cleaning up a report clears its flags and restores the content; deleting removes the reported item.
Who receives report notifications?
Section titled “Who receives report notifications?”Admins and any moderators you select under WB Plugins → Moderation Pro → General → Email and Notification. You can enable email, BuddyPress notifications, or both.
Can trusted members moderate without admin access?
Section titled “Can trusted members moderate without admin access?”Yes. Assign the Community Moderator role and enable moderator moderation on the General tab. Moderators can work reports, including from a Moderation tab on their BuddyPress profile, but cannot change plugin settings.
Can members block each other?
Section titled “Can members block each other?”Yes. A member can block another member so that person can no longer contact them, and can unblock from their own profile at any time. Blocking is independent of reporting to admins.
Which themes are supported?
Section titled “Which themes are supported?”Reign, BuddyX, and BuddyX Pro. Additional themes can be added with the buddypress_moderation_theme_suuport filter.
Is there a WP-CLI command?
Section titled “Is there a WP-CLI command?”Yes. wp bmpro status, wp bmpro stats, and wp bmpro cleanup are available for scripted checks and cleanup.
