See Who Viewed Your Story
When the site owner turns on Show Story Viewers (Integrations tab), members can see who watched each of their stories. Only the author sees this list.
Open the list
Section titled “Open the list”- From your profile, open the Stories tab. The page is titled Your stories.
- Or, while watching your own story, tap the eye and view count at the bottom.
Pick a story from the thumbnails to see its viewers.
What each row shows
Section titled “What each row shows”Every viewer is one compact row:
- their photo and name, linking to their profile;
- when they saw it, for example “Seen 2 hours ago”;
- a heart, red when they liked it;
- on BuddyPress, a Message button when private messaging is active. On PeepSo, the member’s usual buttons, such as Add Friend.
The most recent viewers are listed first. A viewer who watches again keeps the time they first saw it.
Long lists
Section titled “Long lists”The list shows 20 viewers at a time on BuddyPress and 10 on PeepSo. Load more
adds the next set in the same style until everyone is listed. Developers can
change the page size with the wp_stories_viewers_per_page filter (BuddyPress)
or wp_stories_PeepSoUser_per_page (PeepSo).
A story nobody has watched yet shows “This story hasn’t been viewed yet”.
