PeepSo Integration
WP Stories integrates with PeepSo to display stories within the PeepSo activity stream and user profiles.
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- PeepSo active
Enabling the Integration
Section titled “Enabling the Integration”- Open WP Stories (WB Plugins menu) and select the Integrations tab.
- Under the PeepSo section, toggle PeepSo Integration on.
- Click Save Settings.
The PeepSo section only appears on the Integrations tab when PeepSo is active on your site.
Configuration Options
Section titled “Configuration Options”Show Story Form on Activity Page
Section titled “Show Story Form on Activity Page”When enabled, the stories row on the PeepSo activity page starts with the member’s Your story circle, which opens the posting form.
Enable Stories on Profiles
Section titled “Enable Stories on Profiles”Shows the Your story control on a member’s own PeepSo profile so they can post from there. Stories themselves appear on profiles whenever the PeepSo integration is on.
Enable Story Collections
Section titled “Enable Story Collections”Lets members group stories into collections with a cover and a name (similar to Instagram Highlights). Each collection shows as its own circle under its name.
Show Story Viewers
Section titled “Show Story Viewers”Shows the author who watched each story: one compact row per viewer with their photo, name, when they saw it, a heart if they liked it, and PeepSo’s member buttons such as Add Friend. Only the author sees it. See See who viewed your story.
Using the PeepSo Shortcode
Section titled “Using the PeepSo Shortcode”You can display the PeepSo story stream on any page using:
[wp-stories-peepso]This shortcode renders the PeepSo activity stories. It requires both PeepSo to be active and the PeepSo integration to be enabled in settings. If either condition is not met, the shortcode outputs nothing.
Privacy Controls
Section titled “Privacy Controls”Story visibility follows the same options available across WP Stories. When the PeepSo Friends add-on is active, members can choose Friends only. Available visibility levels are configured on the User Publishing tab, under Available Visibility Options.
