Team and Followers
Build your audience and add people to help manage your business page.
Followers
Section titled “Followers”Anyone can follow your business. When they do, they join your business’s group and see your updates in their activity feed, and your follower count updates on your header and directory card.
To see who follows you, open your business page and click the Followers tab.
Team Members
Section titled “Team Members”Team members are followers you promote to help run the business. Because team roles are backed by the business’s group, a person must be following your business before you can give them a role.
Add or Change a Role
Section titled “Add or Change a Role”- Go to your business Settings > Followers
- Under Manage Roles, choose a follower
- Select their role
- Click Assign Role

| Admin | Full control: edit all settings, manage the team, delete the business |
| Moderator | Post updates, manage content, respond to reviews and messages |
| Member (follower) | View team content; no editing access |
The business owner (creator) always keeps full admin rights. Removing a team member’s role takes effect immediately; they remain a follower.
The Team tab and Team widget show each member’s avatar, name, and role.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”Manage which emails you receive about your business in Settings > Notifications:

| Review Reply | Someone replies to your review response |
Turning a notification off stops the email; the event is still visible on the site. If you disabled a notification but still get emails, also check your BuddyPress notification settings. If expected emails are missing, check spam, confirm your email address, and make sure the notification is enabled.
