Set Up Your Profile

Add your images, contact details, and hours so visitors can recognize and reach your business. All of these are edited from your business Settings.

Your profile photo appears in the directory, your page header, activity posts, and search results.

  1. Go to your business Settings > Avatar
  2. Click Select Image or drag and drop
  3. Adjust the crop area
  4. Click Save

Use at least 200x200 pixels, a JPG or PNG, ideally your logo. The image is cropped to a circle or square.

Your cover image is the banner at the top of your business profile.

  1. Go to Settings > Cover Image
  2. Click Select Image or drag and drop
  3. Position the image
  4. Click Save

Around 1200x400 pixels works well. Keep it under 2MB for fast loading, and leave room where your business name overlays.

Go to Settings > Contact Information to add:

  • Phone - include the area code; visitors can tap to call on mobile.
  • WhatsApp - include the country code (for example +1 555 123 4567); visitors can open a WhatsApp chat.
  • Email - use a professional business address; inquiries go here.
  • Website - include https://; the link opens in a new tab.

Enter your street address, city, state or province, postal code, and country. Once saved, the map shows your location and the business becomes findable in location searches. If the pin is wrong, enter latitude and longitude manually to correct it. City plus country is the minimum for location to work.

Go to Settings > Work Hours and first choose an availability status:

Status Shows When to use
No Hours Listed Nothing Online-only or private services
Always Open “Open 24/7” Always-accessible places
Custom Hours Your weekly schedule Shops, restaurants, offices
Temporarily Closed “Closed for now” Renovations, seasonal closures
Permanently Closed “Closed” No longer operating

For Custom Hours, enable each open day and set opening and closing times. To add a mid-day break (for example a restaurant lunch closure), click Add Hours to add a second time slot for that day. Visitors see an Open or Closed status plus your full weekly schedule.

For short-term changes such as holidays, use an announcement instead of rewriting your hours.
