Citation Block
The Citation block (abt/citation) inserts an inline citation to one or more references at the point in your text where you add it.
Insert a citation
Section titled “Insert a citation”- Edit a post or page (on a post type enabled in Settings > General).
- Add the Citation block where the citation should appear.
- In the block sidebar, choose the reference(s) to cite.
- Optionally add a locator, prefix, or suffix.
The block renders the citation in your site’s default citation style, matched to any bibliography on the page.
Block options

Section titled “References sidebar”A document-level References panel lists the works cited in the current post, so you can review and manage citations across the whole document while editing.
