License Activation

PeepSo wpForo Addon is a Pro product. Activating your license connects the site to the Wbcom store so it can receive automatic plugin updates.

Activate

Section titled “Activate”
  1. Go to WB Plugins > PeepSo wpForo and open the License tab.
  2. Enter your license key.
  3. Click activate.

On success, the addon stores the license status and expiry and shows “License activated successfully.” The status is cached for 12 hours to avoid a remote call on every page load; changing the key clears the cached status.

Deactivate

Section titled “Deactivate”

From the same License tab, deactivate the license to release this site’s activation (for example before moving the site). On success you see “License deactivated successfully.”

What activation controls

Only automatic updates. The addon’s features work regardless of license state. Update checks are cached, verify TLS, and do not run on the Dashboard or the Plugins-list screens, so an unactivated or lapsed license does not slow the admin down.

Common license messages

Section titled “Common license messages”

The License tab reports the store’s response in plain language, for example:

  • “Your license key expired on [date].”
  • “Your license is not active for this URL.”
  • “Your license key has reached its activation limit.”
  • “This appears to be an invalid license key for peepso-wpforo-addon.”

If you see “An error occurred, please try again” or “Invalid response from license server”, the site could not reach the store. Check outbound HTTPS and retry.
