Requirements
PeepSo wpForo Addon is an integration layer. It does nothing on its own and will deactivate itself if either required plugin is missing.
Required plugins
Section titled “Required plugins”Both of these must be installed and active:

If either is missing, the addon shows an admin notice (“PeepSo wpForo Integration
requires wpForo-Forums and PeepSo both to be installed and active.”) and
deactivates itself. This is enforced by a capability probe on plugins_loaded:
the addon checks for the PeepSo class and the WPF() function rather than for
a plugin folder name, so it works regardless of how PeepSo and wpForo are
installed.
WordPress environment
Section titled “WordPress environment”- WordPress: 4.6 or newer (tested up to 6.7.1).
- PHP: a version supported by your PeepSo and wpForo releases.
Optional integrations
Section titled “Optional integrations”The addon detects and adapts to these when present, but none are required:
- wpForo Cross Posting (verified with 3.1.6). The addon guards against the duplicate topics and duplicate activities that cross-posting can otherwise create. See Usage > Activity and Notifications.
- wpForo GIPHY (
WPF_GIPHY). GIPHY shortcodes are stripped from activity stream content when this addon renders it. - wpForo boards (multi-board). When a second board exists, a Board profile tab and board switcher pills appear.
Licensing
Section titled “Licensing”This is a Pro addon distributed through the Wbcom store. A license key is required to receive automatic updates. See Usage > License Activation.
