Does this plugin require PeepSo and wpForo?
Section titled “Does this plugin require PeepSo and wpForo?”Yes. Both PeepSo and wpForo must be installed and active. If either is missing, the addon shows a notice and deactivates itself.
Which versions are supported?
Section titled “Which versions are supported?”PeepSo 1.8.10 or newer (verified with 9.0.5.4) and wpForo 2.8.14 or newer (verified with 3.1.5). WordPress 4.6 or newer, tested up to 6.7.1.
Where are the settings? WB Plugins shows nothing to configure.
Section titled “Where are the settings? WB Plugins shows nothing to configure.”The working settings are under PeepSo > Configuration > PeepSo wpForo Addon. The WB Plugins > PeepSo wpForo page holds only Welcome, FAQ and License.
Why do I only see Profile and Activity on another member’s profile?
Section titled “Why do I only see Profile and Activity on another member’s profile?”By design. The Topic and Subscriptions sub-tabs are owner-only. Even an administrator viewing another member sees only Profile and Activity on that member’s Forums tab.
Why is there no Board tab?
Section titled “Why is there no Board tab?”The Board tab appears only when more than one wpForo board exists. The default board (id 0) is intentionally excluded, so a single-board site shows no Board tab.
I turned off the activity but members still get notifications. Is that broken?
Section titled “I turned off the activity but members still get notifications. Is that broken?”No. Activity and notifications are independent systems. Turning off the activity stream post does not turn off the notification, and vice versa. Each has its own switch under the wpForo Activity Setting group.
The member “disable activity” preference seems backwards.
Section titled “The member “disable activity” preference seems backwards.”It is an opt-out. “Enable this option to prevent the creation of topic/reply activities” means: ON = do not post that activity, OFF = allow the activity.
Can a member stop their forum posts from appearing in the feed?
Section titled “Can a member stop their forum posts from appearing in the feed?”Yes. On their PeepSo profile Preferences, the WpForo Activity Settings group lets them prevent their own topic and reply activities.
Does it work with wpForo Cross Posting?
Section titled “Does it work with wpForo Cross Posting?”Yes, and it protects against cross-posting side effects: one article cross-posted to several boards produces a single activity, and creating an activity will not loop back into another cross-post. Verified with wpForo Cross Posting 3.1.6.
