Introduction

PeepSo wpForo Addon connects your wpForo forums to a PeepSo community. It is a bridge, not a replacement: wpForo keeps owning the forums, and this addon surfaces that forum activity inside PeepSo.

Once both plugins are active and the addon is configured, it does three things:

1. Adds forum tabs to the PeepSo member profile. A member profile gains a Forums tab (with Profile, Topic, Activity and Subscriptions sub-tabs) and, when more than one wpForo board exists, a Board tab.
2. Posts forum activity to the PeepSo activity stream. When a member creates a new forum topic or reply, the addon can publish a matching PeepSo activity entry that links back to the topic or reply.
3. Sends PeepSo notifications for forum events. Topic authors and forum or topic subscribers receive PeepSo notifications for new topics and replies.

The site owner controls each behaviour independently from PeepSo > Configuration > PeepSo wpForo Addon, and members can opt out of their own topic and reply activity from their PeepSo profile Preferences.

The activity stream post and the notification are two separate systems. Turning off the activity post does not turn off the notification, and vice versa.

Who this addon is for

Site owners who run a PeepSo community and want their wpForo forums to feel like part of that community, rather than a separate section of the site: forum posts appear in the member feed, forum tabs live on the profile, and forum replies trigger the same notification bell members already use.
