Installation and Setup

Install and activate Woo Sell Services on your WordPress site. The plugin requires WooCommerce and uses EDD licensing for updates and support.

Requirements

A valid license key is required for automatic updates and support.

Your license key is available in your Wbcom Designs account under the Downloads section.

When Woo Sell Services activates:

Two custom database tables are created (wss_sell_messages for conversations, wss_service_notifications for notifications).
Default settings are applied for general, notification, and webhook options.
The “Service” product type option becomes available in WooCommerce.
Three WooCommerce My Account endpoints are registered (service-orders, service-provider, services-notification).

The plugin will not activate if WooCommerce is not active.

The plugin adds a top-level WB Plugins menu in wp-admin. Its settings live at WP Admin > WB Plugins > Woo Sell Services, organized into tabs:

A separate WP Admin > WB Plugins > Order Conversations screen lets the store owner read, moderate, and export order conversations (since 5.8.7).

After activation:

Open WB Plugins > Woo Sell Services > General and set vendor roles, the service order page, and auto-complete options.
Open the Notification tab and enable email and in-app notifications.
Create a page containing the [wss_services_shortcode] shortcode and select it as the service order page.
