Settings Reference
Settings live at WP Plugins, EDD Sell Services (admin URL admin.php?page=edd-sell-services). The screen has four tabs: Welcome, General, Images, and Notification.
General
Section titled “General”Stored in the option ess_general_settings.
- Manage order page. The page that holds the
[edd_sell_services_manage_order]shortcode. Activation creates and selects a “Manage Order” page automatically. - Send customer notification. When the requirement reminder email is sent to buyers who have not filled requirements. Choices are After 12 Hours or After 24 Hours.
- Redirect to conversation page. When on, buyers are sent to the single order screen right after placing a service order.
- Enable emails for conversation. When on, conversation events send emails to the other party.
- Enable live notification. When on, on site live notifications are recorded and polled.
- Display reviews on single product page. When on, and when EDD Reviews is not active, the plugin shows its own reviews list on the service product page.
- Send email to support agent. When on, users assigned to the product are Cc’d on conversation emails.
- Enable to show additional vendor/support agent/co-author on frontend form. When on, the Assign Users control is shown in the EDD Frontend Submissions form.
- Auto complete service order. The number of days after a final delivery, without buyer response, before the order is auto completed.
- Color settings. Content background, content secondary background, content border, conversation background, conversation text, conversation status background, and conversation status text colors, plus a content border radius in pixels. These feed CSS variables used by the frontend order screens and support light and dark presentation.
Images
Section titled “Images”Stored in the option ess_requirement_images_settings. Sets the illustration shown at each stage of the order screens. Defaults ship with the plugin for order started, order requirements, order in progress, order delivery, order delivery accept, order delivery deny, order conversation, order complete, and order review.
Notification
Section titled “Notification”Stored in the option ess_requirement_notification_settings. Sets the notification title and the message text for each event: requirement filled, conversation, send final delivery, accepted final delivery, denied final delivery, and review to service. Use the [sender-name], [service-name], and [order-id] placeholders in these messages.
