Audio Watermarking

Watermarking overlays a short sound on top of the preview at a set interval, so a captured copy carries an audible mark and is not sellable. The overlay happens live during playback in the browser. Your original audio files are never changed.

Turning it on

1. Go to WB Plugins and open the Watermark tab.
2. Turn on Enable Watermarking. The rest of the options appear once it is on.
3. Save.

Once watermarking is on, every preview in the store carries it. There is no per-product ritual to repeat.

Watermark type

• Beep: a short beep clip is bundled with the plugin and is the default. Watermarking works the moment you switch it on, with no upload and no external service.
• Custom audio file: paste the URL of your own watermark clip. This is used only when the type is set to Custom.

Tuning the overlay

• Watermark Interval: how often the mark plays, in seconds (the admin field accepts 5 to 60).
• Watermark Volume: how loud the mark is, from 10 to 100 percent.
• Fade Main Audio: lower the preview volume while the mark plays so it is easier to hear. On by default.

Notes

• Because the overlay is applied in the browser during playback, it protects the streamed preview, not a separately hosted file.
• There is no text-to-speech or spoken watermark. The overlay is an audio clip (the bundled beep, or your own file).
