Do I still need the free plugin if I have Pro?
Section titled “Do I still need the free plugin if I have Pro?”Yes. Pro is an add-on that extends the free Audio Preview for WooCommerce plugin, and both must stay active. Pro deactivates itself and shows an install notice if the free plugin or WooCommerce is missing. It never deactivates the free plugin.
How many previews can I add per product?
Section titled “How many previews can I add per product?”Unlimited. Pro removes the free plugin’s three-preview cap. Marketplace vendors can be capped with the Vendor Upload Limit setting.
Which audio formats are supported?
Section titled “Which audio formats are supported?”mp3, wav, ogg, oga, m4a, aac, flac, wma, and opus.
Can I use files hosted somewhere else?
Section titled “Can I use files hosted somewhere else?”Yes. Paste a direct URL instead of uploading. Pro recognises Google Drive, Dropbox, SoundCloud, Amazon S3, CloudFront, OneDrive, Box, and MediaFire. Google Drive and SoundCloud links play as embedded players; the others play through the normal player using a direct file URL.
How does watermarking work?
Section titled “How does watermarking work?”It overlays a short sound on the preview during playback at a set interval, so a captured copy is marked. A beep clip is bundled and is the default, so watermarking works the moment you turn it on. You can point it at your own clip instead. Your original files are never modified. There is no spoken or text-to-speech watermark.
Can I limit how much of a track a shopper hears?
Section titled “Can I limit how much of a track a shopper hears?”Yes. Set a Preview Duration in seconds globally on the General tab, or per track in the product meta box. 0 plays the whole track.
Does it work with page builders?
Section titled “Does it work with page builders?”Yes. The player retrieves the product safely rather than relying on the global post, so it works with page builders such as Elementor, Divi, and Beaver Builder, and with custom loops.
Can vendors add previews?
Section titled “Can vendors add previews?”Yes, with Dokan, WCFM, or WC Vendors. Turn on Allow Vendor Management on the General tab (the section appears only when a supported marketplace is active).
Is there a shortcode or block to place the player manually?
Section titled “Is there a shortcode or block to place the player manually?”Not in this version. The player is placed automatically at the WooCommerce hook you choose under Product Page Position on the General tab.
Does it support right-to-left languages?
Section titled “Does it support right-to-left languages?”Yes. A right-to-left stylesheet loads automatically on RTL sites.
