Disable the Shop Menu

A member can hide their own Shop menu. This is a per-member choice, not a site-wide setting.

How a member opts out

1. Go to your BuddyPress account Settings > General.
2. Find the Disable Shop Menu checkbox that BuddyWoo adds to that screen.
3. Check it and save.

With the box checked, your Shop tab and its admin-bar entries are hidden on your profile. Uncheck it and save to bring the Shop menu back.

Notes for site owners

• The opt-out only affects the member who set it. Other members are unaffected.
• The choice is stored as user metadata (shop_enabled). Because it is a member choice rather than plugin configuration, it is intentionally kept if the plugin is uninstalled.
