BuddyWoo deactivated itself on activation
Section titled “BuddyWoo deactivated itself on activation”BuddyWoo needs both WooCommerce and BuddyPress (or BuddyBoss Platform) active. If either is missing it deactivates and shows a notice naming the missing plugin. Activate the named plugin, then activate BuddyWoo again.
The Shop tab does not appear on a profile
Section titled “The Shop tab does not appear on a profile”- The Shop surfaces show only on the member’s own profile. You will not see them on another member’s profile.
- Confirm you are logged in and viewing your own profile.
- Check that the member has not enabled Disable Shop Menu under Settings > General.
- Confirm the tabs you expect are enabled under WB Plugins > BuddyWoo > Shop Tabs.
A sub-tab is missing
Section titled “A sub-tab is missing”The Shop tab itself is always on, but each sub-tab (Orders, Order Tracking, Downloads, Addresses, My Reviews) can be turned off. Enable it under WB Plugins > BuddyWoo > Shop Tabs.
Shop URLs return a 404
Section titled “Shop URLs return a 404”BuddyWoo builds URLs with the BuddyPress rewrite APIs. If Shop URLs 404 after changing member-directory slugs or permalinks, flush permalinks in Settings > Permalinks (just save the page) and try again.
An old cart or checkout profile URL 404s
Section titled “An old cart or checkout profile URL 404s”The profile Cart and Checkout tabs were removed in 1.5.0. Those URLs now redirect to the store’s own cart and checkout pages. If a bookmarked one 404s, confirm your WooCommerce cart and checkout pages are set under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced.
Store events are not posting to the activity feed
Section titled “Store events are not posting to the activity feed”- Confirm the event is enabled under WB Plugins > BuddyWoo > Activity.
- Confirm the BuddyPress Activity component is active.
- A review only posts activity for
productreviews, and a moderated review posts when it becomes approved. - If the Reign Dokan Addon is active, BuddyWoo removes its activity settings and steps aside so Reign Dokan handles vendor activity.
Addresses show but cannot be edited on the profile
Section titled “Addresses show but cannot be edited on the profile”That is expected. Address editing happens on the WooCommerce My Account edit-address screen; the edit links on the Addresses tab take you there. The shipping card is hidden when the store does not ship, or ships to the billing address only.
Automatic updates are turned off
Section titled “Automatic updates are turned off”If a package is missing part of the bundled licensing SDK, BuddyWoo disables updates and shows a warning notice, while every other feature keeps working. Reinstall the plugin from a complete package to restore updates.
