Activity Feed Integration
BuddyWoo can post store events to the BuddyPress or BuddyBoss activity feed, so a community sees new products and reviews as they happen.
Event types
Section titled “Event types”| Event | When it posts |

| New product | A product is published (moves to the published status) |
| Product review | A product review is posted, or is approved after moderation |
Both event types are enabled by default and can be turned off on the Activity settings tab. See Admin settings.
Product-preview card
Section titled “Product-preview card”Product and review activity items render a preview card inside the activity content, built from the product:
- Product image (thumbnail), linked to the product
- Product title, linked to the product
- Short description, if the product has one
- Star rating, if the product has an average rating
- Price
The card is added to the activity content when the item is displayed, using a product id stored on the activity item.
Review activity and moderation
Section titled “Review activity and moderation”A review posts activity both when it is created and, for moderated comments, when it transitions to approved. Only reviews on product posts create activity. A small piece of metadata on the review records which product it belongs to, so the review can be shown with its product context.
Reign Dokan note
Section titled “Reign Dokan note”When the Reign Dokan Addon is active, BuddyWoo removes its own activity settings option. Reign Dokan owns the vendor activity experience in that setup, and BuddyWoo steps aside to avoid duplicate activity handling.
