Steps

Section titled “Steps”
  1. Install and activate WooCommerce and BuddyPress (or BuddyBoss Platform) first.
  2. Upload the buddywoo folder to /wp-content/plugins/, or install the zip through Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  3. Activate BuddyWoo through the Plugins menu.
  4. After activation you land on the BuddyWoo settings screen automatically.

What activation sets up

On first activation BuddyWoo enables every tab and both activity event types by default, so members see a complete Shop tab immediately:

  • Shop, Orders, Order Tracking, Downloads, Addresses, and My Reviews are all on.
  • New-product and product-review activity are both on.

You can turn any of these off later under WB Plugins > BuddyWoo.

Updates

Section titled “Updates”

Automatic updates run through the bundled Wbcom licensing SDK with a preset key, so updates work with zero setup. Licensing only authorizes update downloads; it never gates any feature. If the bundled SDK files are incomplete in a package, updates are disabled with a soft admin notice and every other feature keeps working.
