Site Performance

The default behavior of themes is to load fonts directly from Google’s servers.

However, the performance can be improved by loading these Google Fonts locally, which means storing the font files on the server where the website is hosted rather than fetching them from an external source (Google’s servers). Here’s why this can be beneficial for performance:

In BuddyX theme you can do that by navigating to :

Appearance > Customizer > Site performance, And toggle the option  Load google Fonts Locally

Preload Local Fonts

Enable this toggle option to preload local fonts.

Preloading local fonts helps to expedite the loading process of fonts on a website. By initiating the download of font files in advance, the fonts are readily available when a user navigates to a page, reducing perceived load times.

Flush Local Fonts Cache

Click this button to reset the local fonts.

Flushing the local fonts cache is a maintenance task  that involves clearing stored font files from the local cache. It is done to ensure that the website reflects the most up-to-date and accurate font styles, troubleshoot font-related issues, and maintain optimal performance.
