Requirements
BuddyPress Ideapush Integration is a bridge plugin. It only works when the two plugins it connects are both present and active.
Required plugins
Section titled “Required plugins”| Plugin | Why it is needed |

| BuddyPress (version 12.0 or newer recommended) | Provides the member profiles, navigation and activity stream the plugin writes into. BuddyBoss Platform is accepted in place of BuddyPress. |
| IdeaPush | Provides the idea post type and its idea data (votes, status). The plugin reads and displays these ideas; it does not create them. |
If either plugin is inactive, BuddyPress Ideapush Integration deactivates itself during load and shows an admin notice explaining that BuddyPress and IdeaPush are required. This is expected behaviour, not an error.
Environment
Section titled “Environment”These values come from the plugin header and readme.txt:
- WordPress: 5.0 or newer
- PHP: 7.4 or newer
- Tested up to: WordPress 6.7.2
Optional, supported integrations
Section titled “Optional, supported integrations”- BuddyBoss Platform works in place of BuddyPress. When BuddyBoss is active, BuddyBoss handles activity posting, so the plugin’s Activity Stream settings tab and activity-posting are hidden.
- Youzify is detected and given tailored activity display and comment handling when present.
