Everything the plugin adds is built on the ideas IdeaPush already stores. There are three member-facing capabilities plus a couple of supporting touches.

Idea tab on member profiles

When the Idea tab is enabled, every member profile gains a tab that lists the ideas that member has published. Each idea in the list shows:

• The featured image (or a placeholder when the idea has none).
• The idea title, linking to the single idea.
• The vote count, read from IdeaPush’s votes idea meta.
• The publish date.
• The idea status, read from IdeaPush’s current-status idea meta.
• A comment count (counted from the idea’s BuddyPress activity comments).
• A trimmed description, cut to the word limit you set.

The list is paginated at five ideas per page. You can rename the tab, change its URL slug and switch it to a two-column layout. The tab title also carries a count badge of the member’s published ideas. A matching Idea link is added to the BuddyPress admin-bar “My Account” dropdown for logged-in members.

Ideas in the activity stream

When activity posting is enabled, publishing an idea adds an entry to the BuddyPress activity stream. You control:

• Action text - the wording of the activity line (default “Posted an Idea”).
• Append idea title - whether the idea title is shown as a link after the action text.

The activity entry renders the idea’s featured image, title and an excerpt in the feed. This posting is skipped under BuddyBoss (BuddyBoss posts activity itself) and when the BuddyPress Activity component is turned off.

BuddyPress activity comments on ideas

Optionally, the plugin replaces the native WordPress comment form on a single idea with a BuddyPress activity comment thread. Members reply inline, and the reply is stored as a BuddyPress activity comment. This option is available only when the Activity component is active and BuddyBoss is not.

Integration-aware behaviour

• BuddyBoss: activity posting and the Activity Stream settings tab are hidden because BuddyBoss owns activity.
• Youzify: activity type and the comment form are adapted so idea activity and replies display correctly inside Youzify.
