The Check-ins Tab
The Check-ins tab on a member profile lists the places that member saved while checking in. A place lands here when the member leaves “Add this location to Check-ins tab” ticked on the activity form.
Finding the tab
Section titled “Finding the tab”Open a member profile and click the Check-ins tab. The label can be renamed by the site admin, so it may read something else (for example “My Places” or “Travel Log”). If the tab is missing, the admin has turned it off under WB Plugins > Check-ins > General.
What the tab shows
Section titled “What the tab shows”- A map of the saved locations.
- A table of check-ins, each row showing the location address, how long ago the visit was recorded, and a link to view the original activity.
- On your own profile: a checkbox per row plus a bulk Delete action, so you can remove saved check-ins.
The list is paginated (10 per page by default), with prev, next, and numbered page links.
Deleting
Section titled “Deleting”- From the tab: select one or more rows and use the bulk Delete action, or use the per-row trash control. This removes the entry from your saved Check-ins list. Only the owner of a check-in can delete it.
- From the activity stream: deleting the activity post removes the check-in and its location from the feed.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”- Check-ins appear in the activity feed and follow the same privacy as the activity they are attached to. A public post means a public check-in; a group post is visible to that group.
- The plugin records a location only when you add one to a post. There is no background or automatic location tracking.
