The Course Forum Widget
The Course wpForo Forum widget lists the forums linked to the course on a single course page, so students can jump straight from the course to its discussion.
Adding the widget
Section titled “Adding the widget”- Go to Appearance → Widgets.
- Drop the Course wpForo Forum widget into a sidebar that renders on single course templates.
- Set an optional Title.
- Save.
What it shows
Section titled “What it shows”- On each single course page, it lists every forum linked to that course, across every board, as clickable links.
- Each link uses wpForo’s own forum URL, so board routing is always correct.
- If the course has no linked forums, the widget renders nothing.
Caching
Section titled “Caching”The forum list is cached per course for 5 minutes to avoid rebuilding it on every page load. After you link or unlink a forum, the change can take up to 5 minutes to appear in the widget. To see it immediately, clear your object cache (or wait out the 5-minute window).
