License Activation

LearnDash wpForo is a premium plugin distributed through the Wbcom store, and it uses Easy Digital Downloads Software Licensing for updates. Activating your license key lets the site receive automatic plugin updates.

Activating your key

1. Go to the plugin’s license screen under the WB Plugins admin menu.
2. Paste the license key from your Wbcom account.
3. Click Activate License.

Once the status shows active, the site will pull new versions from the store when they are released.

Deactivating

Use Deactivate License on the same screen to free the activation (for example, before moving the key to another site). If the store cannot be reached, the plugin leaves the key in place rather than silently deactivating it.

Notes

• The key is stored in the edd_wbcom_LDWPF_license_key option and its status in edd_wbcom_LDWPF_license_status.
• A valid license is only required for automatic updates. The plugin’s course-to-forum functionality works whether or not a key is entered.
