Forum Settings Reference
These settings live in the LearnDash wpForo Settings box on the wpForo forum edit screen (Forums → Forums → open a forum). This is the screen that carries the full set of options; the course-side box only links and unlinks.

- Settings apply to the whole forum, so every course linked to that forum shares one access profile. This is why privacy and access mode are edited here and not on the course side.
- Saving the box writes the mapping, (re)builds the wpForo usergroup, rebuilds the forum’s permissions column, and backfills current enrollees. It also mirrors the values into the legacy
ld_forum_*/ld_board_forum_*option for backward compatibility. - The same box appears on every board’s forum edit screen.
