Getting started
Woo Product Inquiry & Quote Pro is the premium edition of the free Price Quote for WooCommerce plugin. In your WordPress admin the two plugins appear as Price Quote for WooCommerce (free) and Price Quote for WooCommerce Pro, and their shared settings live under WB Plugins > Price Quote.
Pro is an add-on. It does not replace the free plugin and it cannot run on its own. It extends the free plugin through the free plugin’s own hooks, so the quote button, the quote cart, quote storage, the Quote Requests admin list and the two base emails all stay with the free plugin, and Pro adds the paid features on top.
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- Price Quote for WooCommerce (free) installed and activated, on the matching version. Free and Pro release in lockstep, so run the same version number of both.
- WooCommerce active.
- WordPress 5.0 or newer.
- PHP 7.2 or newer.
The plugin declares WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) compatibility, so you can leave HPOS switched on.
If Pro is active without the free plugin, it does nothing except show an admin notice telling you the free version is required. It does not half-run.
Install and activate
Section titled “Install and activate”- Download the plugin zip from your account.
- Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, choose the file and install it.
- Activate it, after the free plugin is already active.
- Open WB Plugins > Price Quote. Pro adds its tabs to that screen.
You do not have to configure anything for Pro to start earning its place. On a fresh install, activation seeds sensible defaults so the quote form improves immediately:
- On: company field, phone field, budget field, status-change email notifications, and the built-in maths spam question.
- Off: file uploads, reCAPTCHA, volume discounts, and follow-up emails. Each of these needs a decision from you first (storage, keys, tiers, or timing), so a default that would silently break is left off.
Existing sites are never touched by the seed. Every default is written only when its setting has never been saved, so an update does not switch something back on that you deliberately turned off.
The Pro tabs
Section titled “The Pro tabs”Pro adds six tabs to the free settings screen. It has no admin menu of its own.
