License and updates

WB Plugins > Price Quote > License

Pro is distributed directly, not through the WordPress.org plugin directory, so automatic updates come from your licence rather than from wordpress.org. The License tab is where you enter and activate the key that came with your purchase.

Activating your licence

Open the License tab.
Paste in your licence key.
Click Activate.

Once the key is active, Pro checks Wbcom’s store for new versions and offers them on your Plugins and Dashboard > Updates screens like any other update. Deactivating the key on this tab frees the activation for use on another site.

Updates are validated against the product name held at the store, which has not changed, so a key issued under the plugin’s earlier name keeps working after an update.

Keep Pro and the free plugin on matching versions. They are released together, and a Pro update generally expects the free plugin at the same version.
