What Open Graph for WooCommerce Does
When someone shares a link to your product on Facebook, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or Pinterest, the network opens your page and reads a few hidden tags to decide what the shared post looks like. This plugin writes those tags for you.
The result: a shared product link shows the product photo, the product name, a short description and the price, instead of a bare link or a wrong image.
What you get
Section titled “What you get”- Rich previews. Product, category, tag and shop pages carry the tags that social networks read.
- Share buttons. Shoppers get buttons on the product page for Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Pinterest, WhatsApp, Email and Copy Link.
- Control per product. You can write a different social title and description for any product, or switch social output off for one product.
- Extra search data. Optional structured data that helps Google understand your store (logo, social profiles, breadcrumbs, product brand and codes).
- Product sitemap. An XML sitemap of your products and categories for search engines.
What it does not do
Section titled “What it does not do”- It does not post to social networks for you.
- It does not replace your SEO plugin. It works next to Yoast, Rank Math or SEOPress and skips tags they already print. See Use with an SEO Plugin.
- It does not change how your product page looks to shoppers, apart from the share buttons.
