This page describes what a logged-in member sees.
Finding the tab
Section titled “Finding the tab”On their own PeepSo profile, the member sees a My Downloads tab (or the label the owner set) with a download icon. The tab is not shown on other members’ profiles, and other members cannot see it on theirs.
What the tab shows
Section titled “What the tab shows”Each view in the tab is Easy Digital Downloads’ own block, shown inside the member’s profile. Members see exactly what EDD shows them elsewhere on your site, with the same links and actions.
Downloading files
Section titled “Downloading files”The tab opens on the Library view: EDD’s list of the products the member has bought, each with links to its files. When EDD Pro is active, a search field above the list finds a product.
Orders
Section titled “Orders”The Orders view is EDD’s order history. Each order shows its number, status (including “Renewal” for renewal orders), date and amount, with a View Order Details link. When the store uses EDD Software Licensing, a View Licenses link is shown too.
License keys and subscriptions
Section titled “License keys and subscriptions”When the store uses EDD Software Licensing, a License keys view shows each key with a copy button, its status, expiry date and activations in use (for example “2 / 5”). The Manage Activations dialog lets the member deactivate sites, and the member can extend or renew a license and open its order.
When the store uses EDD Recurring Payments, a Subscriptions view shows each subscription with its number, status, product, price per period and renewal date. Its details page offers EDD Recurring Payments’ own update and cancel actions.
Moving around the tab
Section titled “Moving around the tab”Members switch between views with the switcher at the top of the tab. The switcher is hidden when only one view is available. On a phone the switcher becomes a two-column grid, so nothing scrolls sideways. Orders, License keys and Subscriptions are split into pages using the owner’s Items per page setting.
Buying
Section titled “Buying”Members add products to the cart and pay on the store’s normal EDD pages and checkout. After the order is completed, its products appear in Library and the order appears in Orders. If a member has nothing to show yet, each view says so and links to the shop where it helps.
Purchase posts in the stream
Section titled “Purchase posts in the stream”If the owner has purchase posts on and the member shares purchases, a completed order publishes a post such as “Theo purchased Photo Pack” in the activity stream, with product cards underneath. Renewals do not post. Members control this under Profile > Preferences; see Member preferences.
