Feature Overview
PeepSo EDD adds two features between Easy Digital Downloads and PeepSo. The site owner controls both, and members control whether their own purchases are posted.
My Downloads tab
Section titled “My Downloads tab”A My Downloads tab on the member’s own profile, with up to four views. Each view is Easy Digital Downloads’ own block, so members see exactly what EDD shows them elsewhere on your site:
- Library - the tab’s default view. EDD’s list of the member’s products with their file links. A search field appears above the list when EDD Pro is active.
- Orders - EDD’s order history: order number, status (including “Renewal”), date, amount and a View Order Details link.
- License keys - EDD Software Licensing’s licenses list: each key with a copy button, status, expiry, activations, a Manage Activations dialog and extend or renew actions. Shown when EDD Software Licensing is active and the owner has not turned it off.
- Subscriptions - EDD Recurring Payments’ subscriptions list: status, product, price per period, renewal date and a details page with EDD’s own update and cancel actions. Shown when EDD Recurring Payments is active and the owner has not turned it off.
Orders, License keys and Subscriptions are paginated; the Library lists every product. See Profile tabs.
Purchase posts
Section titled “Purchase posts”When an order is completed, a post is published in the activity stream on the buyer’s behalf, built from text the owner sets, with an optional product card underneath. Each order posts once at most. Pending, failed and guest orders never post, and neither do renewals. See Purchase activity.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”- The My Downloads tab only appears to a logged-in member on their own profile. Other members and visitors never see another member’s purchases, and opening another member’s tab URL sends the visitor back to that member’s profile.
- The owner chooses the visibility of purchase posts (public by default).
- Each member can turn purchase posts off under Profile > Preferences. See Member preferences.
Theme support
Section titled “Theme support”The tab and the product card follow the theme’s colours in light and dark mode (including Reign’s dark mode); the plugin points EDD’s block colour variable at the theme so the EDD blocks follow it too. They work on phones (the view switcher becomes a two-column grid, with no sideways scrolling) and use logical CSS properties so right-to-left languages lay out correctly. Both templates can be overridden from your theme. See Hooks and filters.
