Feature Overview
PeepSo EDD adds three integration features between Easy Digital Downloads and PeepSo. Each can be toggled by the site owner, and one of them can also be toggled per member.
EDD Checkout tab
Section titled “EDD Checkout tab”Adds an EDD Checkout tab to the PeepSo member profile that renders EDD’s [download_checkout] shortcode. The plugin makes the profile segment behave as a real EDD checkout page so EDD’s scripts and styles load correctly, and it keeps the remove-from-cart and post-purchase confirmation flow inside the profile. Purchase History tab
Section titled “Purchase History tab”Adds a Purchase History tab that renders EDD’s [purchase_history] shortcode, listing the member’s own EDD orders. Individual receipts open inside the profile through EDD’s [edd_receipt] shortcode, and pagination links are rewritten to stay on the profile. See Profile tabs.
Purchase activity
Section titled “Purchase activity”When a member completes an EDD payment, the plugin posts a PeepSo activity item on their behalf using an admin-defined message template with placeholders such as {user_name} and {product_list}. Purchased downloads are embedded in the activity as oEmbed previews. See Purchase activity.
Privacy and visibility
Section titled “Privacy and visibility”- The two profile tabs only appear to a logged-in member viewing their own profile. When viewing another member’s profile, the tabs are not added.
- Each member can turn the purchase activity on or off from their PeepSo preferences (only shown while the owner-level purchase activity setting is enabled). See Member preferences.
