Requirements
PeepSo bbPress Addon is an integration layer. It does nothing on its own and requires both PeepSo and bbPress to be installed and active.
Required plugins

If either plugin is missing or inactive, the addon shows an admin notice (“PeepSo bbPress Integration requires PeepSo and bbPress both to be installed and active”) and deactivates itself. See Troubleshooting.
WordPress and PHP
Section titled “WordPress and PHP”- WordPress: the
readme.txtstates “Requires at least: 4.6” and “Tested up to: 6.7.1”. - The addon uses
mb_strlen,mb_substr, and transients; a current, standard WordPress hosting environment satisfies these.
Optional integrations
Section titled “Optional integrations”- PeepSo Groups (
PeepSoGroupsPlugin): required only for the Group forums feature. Without it, forum, topic, reply activity and the profile Forums tab still work. - Reign theme and BuddyX theme: the addon includes specific markup and avatar handling for these Wbcom themes.
Multilingual
Section titled “Multilingual”The plugin bundles a wpml-config.xml for WPML admin string translation and
ships translation files (.pot, plus German and Spanish .po/.mo) in the
languages directory. RTL stylesheets are included.
