Installation
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Install and activate both PeepSo and bbPress first. The addon deactivates itself if either is missing.
Install the addon
Section titled “Install the addon”- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/peepso-bbpressdirectory, or install the zip through Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress.
On activation the addon:
- Turns on sensible defaults (forum, topic, and reply activity display; the profile Forums tab; group integration; new topic and new reply notifications).
- Fills the three activity message templates with default text.
- Enables per-member forum, topic, and reply activity for existing users.
- Redirects you to its settings screen.
Activate your license
Section titled “Activate your license”Because this is a Pro plugin, enter your license key so the site can receive updates. The license field lives on the shared Wbcom license tab in the plugin’s admin area. A failed license server response no longer forces the key inactive (fixed in 2.3.0).
Find the settings
Section titled “Find the settings”Settings are split across two places:
- PeepSo > Configuration > PeepSo bbPress Addon holds the working settings (activity, profile tab, group forums). The plugin’s Settings action link on the Plugins screen opens this tab directly.
- WB Plugins > PeepSo bbPress (top-level admin menu) holds the Welcome and FAQ tabs.
