Add a document preview to a product in five steps.

  1. Edit any WooCommerce product in the admin.
  2. Scroll to the “Document previews” meta box.
  3. Enter a document name (for example “Sample Chapter”), then either upload a file from the Media Library with Choose File, or paste a document URL or a cloud sharing link.
  4. Use Add to create another row if you want more than one document. Use Remove to delete a row.
  5. Update the product. A preview button appears on the product page, below the Add to Cart area.

When a shopper clicks the button, the document opens in a modal popup (900 by 700 pixels). PDFs render on your own server through the bundled viewer; Office and cloud documents render through their provider’s viewer inside the same modal.

Each document you add gets its own labelled button, so a product can offer several previews at once.
