Configure Protection Rules
The Protection Rules tab decides what a logged-out visitor sees on a protected page. Open WB Plugins > Private Community > Protection Rules.
Choose a protection method
Section titled “Choose a protection method”Pick one of three options:
Show Login Form
Section titled “Show Login Form”Displays your restriction message followed by the built-in login and register form. Edit the message in the Restriction Message editor. It accepts formatted text and basic HTML. If you leave it empty, a default members-only message is shown.
Show Custom Content
Section titled “Show Custom Content”Displays your own content instead of the default message. Use the Custom Content editor to add HTML or shortcodes. You can include:
[bplock_login_form]- the plugin’s built-in login and register form. If present, it is rendered below your custom text.- Any shortcode your site provides for a third-party login or membership form.
Redirect to Another Page
Section titled “Redirect to Another Page”Sends visitors to a page you select in the Redirect Page dropdown (published pages only). The chosen page stays accessible so visitors are not caught in a redirect loop.
How the fields relate
Section titled “How the fields relate”Only the fields relevant to the selected method are shown:
- Show Login Form reveals the Restriction Message editor.
- Show Custom Content reveals the Custom Content editor.
- Redirect to Another Page reveals the Redirect Page dropdown.
Click Save Changes. The setting applies to all protected content across your site (there is one message and one method for the whole site, not per page).
